Hi friends and fans of LoT!

I am so excited to introduce myself and have the opportunity to partner with everyone’s favorite world travelers, Life Of Travels. Aren’t they just amazing!?

I was introduced to Life Of Travels by a dear friend, Sam Waterloo, a wonderful stylist in Chicago and founder of Moda Mentore. Sam kindly connected Hilary and I, and after my first conversation with Hilary, I knew LoT was a company I wanted to have as both a partner and a friend.

Hilary and Kevin at LoT are two people you want to know.

I couldn’t be more excited to work with such genuine and kind individuals who are so passionate about their travel dreams and life’s work.

Not only do they offer you all of the prettiest pictures, but they also inform and teach you. They take you on their adventure and provide you with the tools to make it your own. Whether it’s talking about an ancient civilization, discovering a beautiful and secluded island, or simply finding the perfect sunset, LoT is your best travel and adventure friend.

My name is Amanda Cohen, and I am the Director of Marketing for Joriki, a socially conscious new yoga apparel company out of Chicago.

Me! Dressed in Domingo Zapata Panda Prints

Our founder, James Langer, started the company out of his love for yoga, giving back, and travel (many of our prints are inspired by patterns that come from all corners of the globe).

There seems to be a theme in this piece, huh?

Since LoT is the true expert with travel, Joriki is here to give you a little dose of our speciality. Yoga.

Whether you’re an everyday yogi or you have never practiced yoga in your life, my goal is to share content that you can both resonate with and appreciate.

Yoga is much more than just a physical practice. It’s a state of mind. It’s an opportunity to let go, release, and become a better version of yourself.

“Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured”- B.K.S. Iyengar.

Every month, I will be sharing a yoga or wellness piece with you. From a Q&A on how to perfect your Dog Down or Tree pose to a piece on self-improvement and happiness, I have your covered. I will also be sharing related pieces on Joriki’s Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Our mantra is Look Forward, Give Back.

Life of Travels states that “travel is a privilege and a choice.” They also mention that the hardest part is committing, taking action, and making the choice. I completely agree and believe this as well applies to your everyday life and well being. Travel can also be from within, and I hope you will follow me on how to start that journey.

Thank you for reading and looking forward till next blog! Until then, namaste 🙂

Love,

Joriki
